Our Founder: David Karnes

NextPhase Lifestyle Solutions was founded by David Karnes, a senior care professional with over 15 years of hands-on experience in retirement living and assisted care. David has successfully owned and operated two retirement communities in West and Central Texas, overseeing licensed assisted living facilities and independent retirement cottages.

David’s passion for senior care grew from his deep understanding of the challenges families face when navigating aging and care decisions. He saw a need for a concierge-style approach that removes stress, simplifies decision-making, and empowers families with trusted resources and support.

Since 2009, David and his wife, Maria, have dedicated themselves to helping seniors live with dignity and security. After operating facilities across Texas, they returned to their hometown of Fort Worth in 2012 to raise their family and continue serving their community. Their personal commitment to family, community, and care forms the foundation of NextPhase Lifestyle Solutions.

David’s experience, expertise, and compassionate leadership ensure that every client receives the personalized care and attention they deserve.
